About Bad Goat Airsoft

The goal of Bad Goat Airsoft (BGA) is to provide historically authentic military simulation events in the Midwest through the use of airsoft and blank-fire weapon systems.

This is not traditional airsoft.
It is not reenactment.
It occupies the space between—something more demanding, more immersive, and more collaborative.

BGA events are built around realism, player agency, and shared responsibility. Participants are expected to engage not just with the mechanics of the event, but with the scenario, the chain of command, and the people around them.

Our Principles

These principles guide how we design and run our events. They are not rules for winning, but standards for participation.

1. The Event Is for Everyone

Success is collective. Every participant’s experience depends on cooperation, communication, and mutual respect. No single role exists in isolation.

2. Safety Comes First

Realism never overrides safety. From hydration and environmental awareness to eye protection and engagement distances, events are structured to be realistically safe at all times.

3. Immersion Is Essential

Participants are expected to commit to their role and remain in character. This is not about “playing a game,” but about operating within a living scenario.

4. The Setting Is Organic

Information is discovered, not handed out. Objectives are not marked on a map. If an enemy supply cache exists, you must find it. Communication from higher command will be delivered in-game, with minimal administrative interference.

These principles are not fixed. They will evolve as BGA evolves.
